The performance of EndoTherm was piloted by Bridgend County Borough Council in 2 buildings including Bryn Y Cae Residential Home in Bridgend.

The residential care home, which operates a 37-bed assisted living facility, is heated by 3 x 150kW boilers via steel panel radiators.

EndoTherm was installed in July 2018.

Social care and rehabilitation homes have unique building usage patterns due to the diverse needs and routines of their occupants. Some areas may require constant heating, while others may have intermittent usage. This pilot of EndoTherm showed Bridgend County Borough Council that they can optimise wet heating systems in such complex environments to reduce energy consumption without compromising comfort.
