Case Study - Stowe School, Buckinghamshire
The performance of EndoTherm was trialled within the swimming pool AHU at Stowe School a co-educational boarding school in Stowe, Buckinghamshire.
The trial focused on the 25m heated swimming pool. The air temperature is regulated by an air handling unit (AHU) system which is served by two kerosene fuelled, 180kW Ideal Boilers.
The heating system is measured and monitored by a telemetric system which calculates the kerosene usage for comparison purposes.
EndoTherm installation took place on the 5th November 2015. A direct comparison of usage in 2014/15 and 2015/16 was made after applying degree day compensation using data from nearby Turweston Aerodrome (Northamptonshire).
