Young & Co.’s Brewery PLC - Full Estate Roll-Out

EndoTherm Energy Saving Case Study
Nationwide, United Kingdom

Young & Co.’s Brewery is a British brewery and pub chain operating over 270 pubs nationwide.

Each of the pubs have wet heating systems which are powered by gas. Young & Co.’s Brewery spend circa £899,640 on heating costs per annum.

As part of their carbon reduction and sustainability strategy, Young & Co.’s Brewery
piloted EndoTherm to reduce their energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions as well as to lower their carbon footprint.

EndoTherm was piloted initially in 8 Young & Co.’s pubs and its performance analysed. Space heating energy consumption was reduced at all sites and the savings equated to a full return on investment made within the pilot period.

Following this success Young & Co.’s rolled EndoTherm out across all of their property portfolio.
